Kaneohe to Honolulu
Ride Distance: 20 miles
The ride from Kaneohe to Honolulu starts by Heeia State Park, and the Waiahole Forest Reserve. It takes you around the Keaiwa Heiau State Park and then the Fort Shafter and ends in Honolulu near the Puu Ualakaa State Park.
Keweenaw Peninsula Loop
Ride Distance: 120 miles
Houghton to Copper Harbor Loop is a motorcycle ride through the Keweenaw Peninsula on the Northernmost tip of Michigan along Lake Superior. The spectacular coastline, lush forests and twisty highways await you.
Kitt Peak Observatory
Ride Distance: 12 miles
Outside of Tucson is the Kitt Peak National Observatory. The 15-mile ride up the mountain is full of twists and turns so it makes this a local favorite for sportbike riders.
Kooskia to Elk City
Ride Distance: 80 miles
Located on the Lewis and Clark Highway is the town of Kooskia. From this point on the Central Idaho map are an array of motorcycle roads so check the map closely and enjoy the ride - Climb On!
La Pine to Valley Falls
La Pine, OR
Ride Distance: 121 miles
From La Pine OR this ride will take you near Newberry National Volcanic Monument. It will also take you by Silver Lake and Summer Lake on your way through and line around the edge of the Fremont National Forest.
La Plata to Point Lookout
La Plata, MD
Ride Distance: 56 miles
Ride a motorcycle from La Plata to Maryland's infamous Point Lookout State Park for a taste of history and a good view of Chesapeake Bay.
Lake Cascade McCall Loop
New Meadows, ID
Ride Distance: 266 miles
The Lake Cascade McCall Loop is well know in this area. The roads are great and the corners are everywhere so ride with that in mind as you enjoy some of the best views in all of Idaho.
Lake Conroe College Station Loop
Lake Conroe, TX
Ride Distance: 127 miles
This is a really fun ride north of Houston. Takes about 4-5 hours. Perfect for a half-day cruise or Sunday ride. Make sure to get some barbeque too. There's a great place in College Station. CJ's is the name I think.
Lake Lawtonka Loop
Ride Distance: 106 miles
From Carnegie this ride will take you around by the Great Plains State Park and the North Mountain Wilderness Area and the Wichita Mountains Wildlife Refuge. It then takes you around Lake Lawtonka before ending near the Fort Cobb State Park.
Lake Nippersink Loop
Fox Lake, IL
Ride Distance: 22 miles
The Lake Nippersink Loop is the only response we received from folks in Illinois when we asked for suggestions. It doesn't look like much to us but apparently riding aorund a series of lakes is considered fun in the mid-west.
Lake Seminole Loop
Ride Distance: 100 miles
The Lake Seminole Loop is an all day ride that features some decent roads in the southern end of the ride and a half dozen opportunities to visit State parks in Georgia and Alabama along the way.
