Best AMA Superbike Blogger - Mat Mladin

Friday, May 22, 2009
Mat Mladin is a divisive figure in American motorcycle racing. Many love him, many love to hate him - there aren’t many American road-racing fans without a strong opinion on the six-time AMA Superbike champ. Whether it be the current controversy over the DMG direction in AMA Pro Road Racing, or his spirited rivalry with former teammate Ben Spies – Mladin is unafraid to say what he thinks.

Mladin parlayed pole position into a 0.734-second lead by the end of Lap 1 and never looked back in the wire-to-wire win.
Dominating on the track, now Mladin is blogging about the AMA series... Making for some excellent reading.
Not one to mince words, now the dominating Aussie has taken to blogging at http://matmladin.blogspot.com/

So far there’s been five posts since his May 6th inaugural posting - in which he analyzes the DMG changes thus far, rips Ducati’s World Superbike celebration at Monza and generally sets the tone for what should prove to be very entertaining reading this season. Racing fans should not miss it – make sure to check it out and let’s hope Mladin’s posts are as consistent as his performance on the track!

Ben - Michel Fabrizio   May 23, 2009 07:10 AM
I agree 100% with Mladin!! First off when Fabrizio waved at Spies when he passed him half way through the race I flipped out. WHAT A DOUSCH!! Then he acts as if he earned a victory... I can't believe nobody called him out on it. On top of even that..he got spanked in race 2.
