New Product on Scott Russell Site

Thursday, August 30, 2012
Scott Russell tests the XR1200 racebike in preparation for the Daytona opener.
Scott Russell has added Screamin' Chief licensed products to the Scott Russell Racing website.
Scott Russell took his Screamin’ Chief logo to the top of the world in 1993…and now it’s back. You may have spotted riders like Danny Eslick sporting the Russell signature Arai helmet in AMA competition and now the entire line of Screamin’ Chief licensed products are available at scottrussellracing.com.

Scottrussellracing.com highlights this racer’s incredible career. Many fans new to motorcycling only know Russell as the SBK world champion and five-time Daytona 200 winner, but look a little deeper and you see a Suzuka Eight-Hour win, AMA Superbike championship and AMA Superstock championship, including the first rider to go undefeated in an AMA season. Throw in a MotoGP Rookie of the Year award and it’s fair to say that Scott Russell’s racing resume stands as one of the most impressive in American history.

Find out more about SR, what he’s been up to, see his entire Screamin’ helmet line over the years, upload your favorite fan photo for the world to see and much more. The all-new website is the one-stop source for all Russell fans and the variety of Screamin’ Chief licensed gear extends to hoodies, hats, beanies, sticker, socks and shirts. You can find the Russell Arai helmets link there too.

Russell’s forced retirement (medical retirement after being struck on the starting line at Daytona) ended with a bang. The Georgia native spends AMA weekends in the Speed Channel booth as the color commentator, and is the full-time Guest Instructor for the Yamaha Champions Riding School.

“This sport has been so good to me,” the Champ told us. “With the Yamaha school, I feel like I can give back something, help riders improve. I try to bring my insight to the Speed coverage too, hopefully interest more people in this incredible sport.”
