The life of a custom motorcycle builder must be a strange one indeed. Jesse James and the OCC boys have cable television shows, and even those poor fellows without a starring role in their own reality TV program have plenty of notoriety in the motorcycle world. Take for example Roland Sands, no stranger to TV himself, a popular custom builder and focus of Motorcycle USA features on more than one occasion (see related items links).

RS’s aftermarket Roland Sands Design (RSD) business and one-off custom rides have generated numerous fans. Amongst the fanatics is a fellow whose love for Sand’s Glory Stomper custom has been transferred to his body via tattoo. It’s a pretty good representation of the real thing, as far as ink jobs go. And really, nothing says I like your work more than “I’ve had it permanently injected into my skin!”
