In case you missed it (like we somehow did), stunt rider Craig Jones took a wild spin on a Buell 1125R ice racer earlier this year. Jones rode a nitrous-injected 1125R up to 148.7 mph on the frozen surface of Sweden’s Lake Dellen. The nitrous system is said to have added around 50 horsepower to the 1125 Twin, with special spiked tires adding traction.

The English-born Jones said of his Buell ice antics: "I firmly believe that your head is the biggest limiting factor in pushing to the edge. The less you think about the risks, the further you can push yourself. So I kept it simple. I just put the bike into gear, tucked down and went as fast as I could."

As interesting as the 1125R top speed is, our favorite shot from the Buell ice hooliganism is of a spike-tired 1125CR leaned over in the snow. Now that’s something you don’t see every day!
