No need to get your eyes checked - it's possible. You can enter the 2009 CBR and it need not cost you a penny. How? Well it's been done by more than one rider on more than one occasion before so we've pooled together this knowledge into a single document full of practical help, tips and ideas for your to raise your entry fee entirely from outside sources. It's
available now from the CBR website.
In addition we have also introduced our "Refer-a-Friend" program - quite simply for every new rider you introduce to Cannonball we'll pay you a generous commission of £200. Combine this with the loyalty discount of £100 to previous entrants AND our early booker discount of another £100 off and you are well on your way to having the time of your life at very little money. You'll need to act fast to claim the early booker discount though - the offer expires Jan 11th! Enter today.
New Route For 2009
Many thanks to all of the 2008 riders that completed the questionnaires. We have taken all your comments on board and in devising the 2009 event we have endeavoured to give you even more of what you want!
Detailed route planning is well underway and already we have discovered incredible new stop-offs to visit along with exciting new cities and venues for your 'pleasure and entertainment'. The real heart of the CBR remains true - an unforgettable adventure!
Press Coverage
The dust may have settled on the spectacle that was CBR 2008 but it lives on in the hearts and minds of those that were there and seemingly also in the press. The event has so far obtained well over 30 pages of international press coverage along with full feature articles in Bomber and StreetFighters Magazines.
The story of Paul and Andy's incredible experiences as featured in StreetFighters could not be more Cannonball. Steadfastly refusing to conform, they spent endless hours hand-building two of the most outrageous, powerful bikes ever to enter the event. Through award winning-highs to lows that were never in the game-plan, they adapted, regrouped, never once entertained the idea of giving up and emerged from apparent disaster with the "Spirit of Cannonball" award and a story that they'll no doubt dine out on for years.
Pick up the current copy (Feb 2009) of StreetFighters Magazine for Part 2 of the feature and

It's life as it should be - unscripted, unimaginable and unforgettable. I think they call it Cannonballism.
We look forward to seeing old friends and new, once again in June.
