Leslie Porterfield, the fastest woman on a motorcycle, holder of three land-speed records and 2008 AMA Racing Female Rider of the Year will be on the CBS Early Show Friday, January 16, 2009.
She will be interviewed about one of the fastest growing segments in motorcycling - women. Porterfield is in New York City for the 28th Annual Cycle World International Motorcycle Show. She will be signing autographs at the North American Warhorse booth at the Jacob Javits Center on Saturday and Sunday at 11 am and 3 pm.
"I am looking forward to being on the show to talk about the trends in the motorcycling with women. When I started riding motorcycles 16 years ago it was pretty lonely out there for female motorcyclists. Today women are one of the fastest growing segments in the motorcycle market and I believe this trend will continue to have a very positive impact on future motorcycle sales," commented Porterfield.
