Crescent Suzuki British Superbike rider, Sylvain Guintoli, is backing a revolutionary rider safety device, designed to eliminate potential spinal injury to riders involved in accidents, on the road or track.
The Helmet Emergency Access Device (H.E.A.D), is designed to allow medics access to the rider's airways, avoiding difficult and potentially damaging removal of the rider's crash helmet, even if unconscious.
Guintoli, who will be in attendance at the H.E.A.D launch event on Thursday 26th March, commented, "I was invited to see this project a few months back and was immediately impressed by the concept. It's a hugely delicate situation when a rider suffers an accident and with this process the chances of spinal injury or worse are dramatically reduced. I'm hoping those that see the H.E.A.D system in demonstration will be as impressed as I am."
