Ride 4 Kids Going Strong at Miller

Sunday, May 30, 2010

The subject is sobering: brain tumors are the most prevalent form of cancer in children. An average of 10 kids every day are diagnosed. The PBTF does its best to reverse that trend as the largest non-governmental fundraiser for children’s brain tumor research.

Friday, May 28, 2010
Though Yamaha’s James Toseland has yet to compete at Utah’s Miller Motorsports Park, the English rider was one of the more popular riders at the opening Friday festivities. The two-time SBK champ was a must have signature at the autograph session, particularly amongst the fairer sex. In fact, Toseland’s autograph line did not subside until he was pulled on stage to indulge in his other passion, playing piano.

Rizla Suzuki MotoGP Rider Interviews

Wednesday, May 26, 2010
Rizla Suzuki has been campaigning MotoGP steadily for quite a while now. In fact, aside from the Repsol Honda and Ducati Marlboro teams, is there a more familiar team branding in the GP paddock than the baby blue GSV-R squad? A couple years ago, when there was still a tire war, it appeared the Bridgestone-shod Suzukis piloted by Chris Vermeulen and John Hopkins were a rising force.

Robinson Makes Good on Tribute

Tuesday, May 25, 2010
Last week we mentioned one of the more inspirational stories at the 2010 North West 200 – the 125cc victory of Paul Robinson. Robinson took the 125 victory ahead of cousin William Dunlop to claim his first-ever NW 200 win, but the victory meant more than just a career milestone.

Hangtown Motocross Video Highlights

Monday, May 24, 2010
The first round of the 2010 Motocross season got underway this past weekend in Rancho Cordova, California at the Rockstar Energy Hangtown Classic. Chad Reed defended his 2009 title by taking the 1-3 result, just bettering the 4-1 of KTM’s Mike Alessi. The fresh Supercross champ, Ryan Dungey, faltered out of the 450 MX gate with a lackluster 10-6 result. In the 250 class rookie Eli Tomac took the overall win in his first-ever professional Motocross national.

So they were dead on the island the whole time? When a Racing Legend Gives You a Bike

The North West 200: Real Road Racing

Thursday, May 13, 2010
Irish Road Racing is an amazing sport – true road racing in its rawest form. And the locals, be it our cab driver, tour guide or the average local racing fan, are quick to point out it is road racing. That other kind of racing, on closed courses with run-off for more-often-than-not survivable errors, is dismissed as “circuit racing.” When I mention that in America we refer to circuit racing as road racing, they give a polite smile as if to say “how quaint.
