Directions: From Sidney, NE head North on Highway 385 all the way to Chadron and historic Fort Robinson on. Highway 385 crosses the United States from South to North.
Description: Wagons used this same route to bring gold from the SD gold fields to the trains in Sidney. The roads are in excellent shape and there are small towns along the way to stop, rest and refresh. Many historical attractions are found along the 385 Byway as well as fishing, camping, hunting and boating opportunities.
