Dungey and Fiolek Nominated for ESPY

Two motocross stars, Ryan Dungey and Ashley Fiolek, are nominated for recognition at this year’s ESPY Awards. The duo will compete in the Best Action Sports Athlete categories, which are broken out into separate male and female groups. World’s Smallest Electric Bike

We get some interesting story leads here at MCUSA. This one showed up in the email with a simple YouTube link and a thank you. It’s the Moosshiqk, a 12 x 18-inch ‘bike’ hailed as the “world’s smallest electric bike.” We’re not quite sure what to make of it, so maybe our readers can help us out.

OHV Pursuit of Happiness Showdown

Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness. Those are the oft-cited “self-evident” truths and “unalienable Rights” in the US Declaration of Independence, rights that we as citizens are “endowed by our Creator with”. Great stuff, wonderful stuff, but that whole “pursuit of Happiness” thing causes a lot of sticky situations, doesn’t it?

In the Badlands, Mind the Stop Signs

Driving from Medford, Oregon to Salt Lake City, Utah there’s a lot of empty real estate. Those long stretches of barren desert are good for contemplation and eating up the miles fast, as the MPH gets fudged when you don’t see any cars on the road for stretches of 30 minutes at a time. The most barren backroad on my route is Highway 140, which skirts Southern Oregon before dipping into Nevada where it hooks up with US-95.

Guy Martin Isle of Man TT Video

Guy Martin is one of the more entertaining characters on the road racing scene. The Wilson Craig Honda rider stands out with his trademark muttonchops, and his frenetic energy. When we first saw Martin in person at the North West 200, he bounced around the garage rummaging through tool drawers for parts, meticulously checking his racebikes, and even making tea for his wrenchers.
