Ride Honda CBR250R Around the World
Wednesday, December 29, 2010
Need another creative way to pilfer time at work... besides reading Motorcycle USA? Take your Honda CBR250R for a jaunt around the world.
The little pretend Honda motoring through pretend Japan.
The newly launched Honda CBR250R Touringlobe site
is a Flash-based game where players scroll their virtual CBRs across the virtual globe. We fail to entirely grasp what’s going on, probably because nothing really is going one. Players can customize their rider and bike colors and earn medals for “achievements” like hitting mileage milestones at they cross the cartoony landscapes.
It’s a pure timewaster. And earning the medal for travelling 100km while at your place of work should be grounds for summary firing. Not that anyone would ever get sucked into something so silly...
Getting our hands on a real CBR is the big question. We got our CBR250R First Ride
in earlier this month, but expect a standalone bike review and much-anticipated CBR250R vs Ninja 250R comparison sometime in the opening months of 2011.
