World's First 360 Front Flip

Thursday, March 31, 2011
A relatively unknown FMXer by the name of Mark Monea landed the first motorcycle 360 front flip in front of an audience during the first stop of the Nitro Circus Live Australian Regional Tour. Formerly a mechanic for X Games 16 gold medal winner Cam Sinclair, “Monz” hasn’t been riding freestyle for very long. During the Crusty Demons’ tour he was part of the show doing front flips on a BMX bike, so when he began riding FMX he went for the front flip straight away into the foam pit. The 360-twist just happened while attempting to bring the bike around and just felt natural to Monea. Nothing like going big right out of the gate, huh? My money is on an X Games 17 Medal in Best Trick if he is invited, and you know he will be.

Check out the video from Nitro Circus Live of Monea’s first time landing the 360 front flip during the show.
