The cockpit of the 2007 Aprilia RSV1000R is pretty slick considering its been aorund for a while. The top clamp is stylish and the minimalist dash provides plenty of information. The mirrors work about as well as the 1098 units - maybe a tad bit better too...

The upswept exhaust and traditional looking bodywork have provided the Mille with a timeless look.

Ground clearance is certainly not an issue on either of these bikes. Here's Adam doing his best to try and grind down the peg feelers anyway.

Wind protection on the 2007 Aprilia RSV1000R is quite a bit better on the Mille than the 1098 becuase the windscreen is so much bigger.

Heed's long legs are no match for the Aprilia's more spacious rider area. The long reach to the bars and high pegs can cramp a tall rider's style a bit more than the 1098 does.

A pair of huge reflector headlamps will shed light on any dark canyon road and the centrally located ram-air intake give the Mille a boost once the mph surpasses triple digits.

There are a number of eye-catching components in this shot of the 2007 Aprilia RSV1000R Mille in action at Buttonwillow. The blue Oz wheels, Brembo brakes and Phlins fork combine to give it the look of a bike that means business.

The Mille has a very distinctive look with its sharp nose and tail section sandwiching the aluminum frame and dual exhausts for a look all its own.
