IM 55 year's old and at my age I like to sit up and be comfortable.and this bike is the bike for me it fits my body to the T.IT also will run in the high nines at 147 mph with only a slip on and a gear reduction. there's no reason for the FZ1 to run 85 mph in first gear at the rev limiter. so I switched the front sprocket from a 17 tooth sprocket to a 15 tooth sprocket-That made a dramatic difference in the quarter mile times it went from a 10.60 at 127 mph to 9.860 at 144 mph. stock the FZ1 is geared for gas mileage and highway driving.It still will run 179 mph top end indicated on the speedo.and year end sale for $7,500.00 out the door you cant beat it. Ive owned everything that runs hard r1's gsxr's kawa's Honda cbrs all sport bikes. the Fz1 is by far the most comfortable naked bike good day Wayne Rhodes
