Tom Sykes and his ZX-10R Video
Friday, October 12, 2012
Kawasaki’s Tom Sykes
took second in the 2012 World Superbike championship, just half a point behind Aprilia’s Max Biaggi
in the closest WSBK series finish in 25 years. Sykes’ ZX-10R
is still somewhat new to the World Superbike scene, making its debut during the 2011 season, but has already made waves as a bike to beat. Sykes earned nine Tissot-Superpole awards, four race wins and 13 total podium finishes in 2012, thanks in large part to the continued improvements to his machinery over the course of the season. To see the development of the ZX-10R over the course of the 2012 season, as well as highlights from Sykes’ final round performance at Magny-Cours
, check out the WSBK Round 14 video below via YouTube, courtesy of Kawasaki.
