Jonathan Rea Narrates Lap at Phillip Island

Thursday, February 21, 2013
World Superbike is upon us, with the first official practice sessions at Phillip Island slated for Friday 22, 2013. Thanks to the time difference, here on the West Coast we’ll see results late Thursday evening, so keep tuned to MotoUSA to see how things go. In preparation for the season opener, riders spent two official and two unofficial days testing at the Australian circuit, and during one of the sessions, Gary Price of GSP Media recorded some on-camera footage of Pata Honda’s Jonathan Rea turning a fast lap. Afterward, Rea sat down to narrate his strategy at the track, explaining each turn and highlighting potential problem areas that might prove pivotal in the coming races. Check out Rea’s lap at Phillip Island in the video below, provided courtesy of Pata Honda via YouTube.
