In 2005 Triumph came out with yet another version of the Speed triple. Powered by the flat torque curve of the 1050 triple engine, the Speed Triple is a stunter's delight. The only problem with the bike is keeping the front wheel on the pavement.
Otherwise (or because of this, depending on your views), the bike is a marvel. It has delicate handling, plenty of oomph to outrun most bikes on the road at sub-legal speeds, and is remarkably comfortable to ride--like a huge powerful motocross bike.
This machine never fails to make me smile, especially when the triple engine starts to howl.
