DB5S is derived from the award winning DB5 Mille, the tubular steel frame of the DB5S with machined plates in aircraft alloy envelopes the powerful and reliable Ducati 1100 DS engine. The innovative concept behind the tubular composite swing arm, confirms our commitment to continuous research and development. As introduced first on the DB5 Mille the revolutionary design of the full front fairing leaves the engine completely exposed.

The DB5R is lighweight and agile. Tha twin-cylinder sports bike with its classic Ducati 1100 DS engine produces a unique and emotive riding experience: lightning-fast corner entry and mid-corner speeds can be achieved, with super-precise lines and easy direction changes. The DB5R's bodywork is made entirely of carbon fibre, as are the airbox and engine covers.

The Tesi 3D featuring the original Hub-Steering developed by Bimota, and boasts several new developments and refinements: The front and rear swing utilize a trellis structure similar to the rear swing of our DB5 and DB6 series' models. Also the front suspension has been radically redesigned and now uses a pull-rod mechanism with the hydraulic suspension located low beside the engine. Carbon body-parts and cowling, forged alloy wheels, and radial disc brakes. The frame consists of light alloy.
