I would like to thank Jeff & Walt for the freindly and fast service. I had the sprockets and chain replaced on my '09 VFR Interceptor as well as a rear tire mounted. Like with any shop you are going to pay a bit more for items purchased thru them, but they have to stay in business. Shop rates are reasonable and so far their work has been outstanding. Thank You guys, hope I have found a new home town shop :-)

I took my bike into Anderson Motorsports because of a rear brake pedal recall. The recall parts were not in stock and I was told by the owner I would have to leave my bike with them before he would order the replacement parts. I didn't like that so the owner said the only other way was to pay for the recall parts up front and he would reimburse me when the repairs were completed. I told the owner of the dealership I didn't like that way either. He stated that this is Kawasaki's policy and that all Kawasaki dealership are this way. I immediately called Kawasaki's corporate office and they stated to me that the above mentioned policy is NOT Kawasaki's corporate policy; it is what that particular dealership wants to do. I then went back to the owner of Anderson Kawasaki and said what corporate told me on the phone. I told him that you lied to me about your policy that all dealers do it this way and he admitted that was a lie.
1. I don't feel I need to leave my bike at the dealer for more than a week while parts come in and they have the time to install them.
2. I don't feel that a customer should have to pay for recall parts up front if he or she elects not to leave his or her bike.
3. If this was a regular repair and not a corporate RECALL I could see paying for the parts up front if I elect not to leave my bike.
4. The dealer should never lie to a customer that his policies are corporate policies and that all Kawasaki dealers do it this way.
Thank God for cell phones.
