The landscape was as picturesque as anything I have seen in over 35 countries on two wheels.
Climbing, climbing and working our way through small villages, as we rode through the center of people’s lives, the smiles in our helmets grew larger and larger.

Shepherds walked their sheep in the road, old ladies in drab clothing and headscarves swept their stoops with old-fashioned brushes, and small farmhouses punctuated the landscape.
