Thunder Struck Xtreme Bike Show Saturday
Friday, August 19, 2011
Thunder Struck Custom Bikes and Mark Daley are holding their annual Xtreme Bike Show & Street Party tomorrow in downtown Medford, Oregon.
We like to help out local talent whenever the opportunity arises. And the most talented custom bike builder in our neck of the woods is Mark Daley
of Thunder Struck Custom Bikes. Daley took second place in the Freestyle Class of the AMD World Championships of Custom Bike Building
last year in Sturgis, no small feat by any means considering the caliber of talent in the show.
Tomorrow Mark and Thunder Struck
is hosting its annual Xtreme Bike Show & Street Party in downtown Medford, Oregon. There will be live music, food, vendors and a beer garden. Thunder Struck will also be hosting a bike show featuring everything from full-blown customs to specialty classes. Trophies will be awarded in all categories. Registration begins at 11 a.m. and the show will run from 1 – 3 p.m. Trophy presentations are scheduled for 3:30. I also heard ThunderStruck is going to unveil its latest custom build at the show. Can’t wait to see what they’ve been up to. Motorcycle USA also donated three Bell Helmets as prizes for the raffle.
All proceeds from Mark’s annual street party will benefit The Boys and Girls Clubs of Jackson County. This doesn’t surprise me. Mark’s a big-hearted guy with an easy-going disposition.
So if you’re anywhere near Southern Oregon tomorrow, head on down to Habanero’s Mexican Restaurant at 142 N. Front St. to check out the custom bikes, listen to some live music, grub on some BBQ and maybe enjoy a frosty beverage or two.
