Want to be the owner of the very first production
Indian Chief to roll off the assembly line of its new owners, Polaris Industries? Then you need to talk to the good people over at Indian Motorcycle Charlotte
as the first Polaris-built 2012 Indian Chief Vintage is en route to its showroom. Indian Charlotte is expecting the motorcycle to arrive by November 15th and is currently accepting offers on the historic motorcycle. It is the first 2012 Indian Chief available to the public, with Serial #000002 because Serial #000001 is going into Polaris’ personal collection, so this is the first production
Polaris-Indian Chief out there.
Polaris Industries bought Indian Motorcycles back in April. For the first model year under its new ownership, the inaugural round of Indians will be numbered to 110, come with special badging and certificates of ownership to authenticate their historical significance. The 2012 Indian Chief Vintage is based on the 1948 Chief. It has a two-tone paint scheme, chrome Indian tank badge, and a fender light that harks back to a different era. The Chief Vintage comes with a distressed tan leather seat with fringe covers and leather saddlebags to give it a nostalgic look. Sixty-spoke chrome wheels with classic whitewall tires add to its vintage stance.
If you’re interested in owning a piece of history, give Mark Moses and the crew over at Indian Charlotte a ring at (704) 879-4560.
