The guys over at Choppertown Nation, Zack and Scott, (the indie filmmakers who also head up One World Studios) are at it again. It’s time for their 3rd Annual Online Backyard Build Contest. They’re providing a fun forum for garage builders and backyard wrenchers to show off their work and win some cool prizes to boot.

Anyone can enter. All you need to do is load up a couple of pictures of your chopper, bobber, café racer or rat bike, write a few words about the build, and you’re entered. Winners will be chosen the first week of March. Cool sponsors like Biltwell Inc., Dice Magazine, Lick’s Cycles, Dickies and others have chipped in with prizes. If you’ve got a cool ride you’ve spent a lot of blood and busted knuckles putting together, then why not share your accomplishment with a bunch of like-minded people?

Here’s the rules according to Zack and Scott:

1. We're not really into categories, but here's the three we decided on:
Chopper, Bobber, and Cafe.

2. Post two (2) pics under the appropriate category and tell us something about the build.

3. The bike MUST have been built by you or your buddies in your backyard or garage. (No previous entries allowed)

4. Pics can be posted until the last day of February 2012. Winners will be announced one week after.

5. Awesome prizes and C/N link badge will be awarded to the top 4 in each category:
1st place: Biltwell lid, Dickies Workshirt, Lick's goodies, Dice Magazine, Choppertown DVD Combo, Free movie stream at StreamTown.tv
2nd place: Dickies Workshirt, Lick's goodies, Dice Magazine, Choppertown DVD Combo, Free movie stream at StreamTown.tv

6. IMPORTANT! This year's judges will be the top ten C/N contributing members of the month for February! On March 1st, we'll check the stats and invite the top ten contributors for the month to be the judges. If someone doesn't want to judge, the next top contributor will be invited to judge and so on... This is open to any member of C/N so start posting and commenting now, you have three weeks to get your stats up! (Contestants cannot be judges.)
