Discovery Picks Up Jesse James Outlaw Garage
Tuesday, April 24, 2012
After an outpouring of support on social media sites, it looks as if Discovery producers have decided to pick up Jesse James' 'Outlaw Garage' and intend to air the series.
Ahh, the power of social media. Love him or loathe him, looks like we’re in for another dose of Jesse James on TV. Check out this tweet James posted about an hour ago.
“HOT DAMN!! #OUTLAWGARAGE Is A GO!! BIG Thanks 4 tell'n @Discovery@christodoyle What U Want on TV!!”
This comes on the heels of a tweet by Discovery’s Executive Producer, Christo Doyle, who wrote “We @discovery hear all of you @FreeJesseJames & #outlawgarage fans LOUD and CLEAR… Stay tuned.”
There has been an outpouring of support for James’ latest show buzzing around the internet after “Outlaw Garage
” debuted Monday, April 9. The new show features James and the crew of the Austin Speed Shop whose first project was to restore a 1932 Ford Roadster in only weeks. Cries have gone out to see more fabrication and less family drama, the driving force behind another long-running Discovery motorcycle show. Apparently fans will get their wish after James and Christo both posted tweets indicating the show is a go and the series will make it into production.
In a prior tweet, James said he has “tons of great builds lined up. Just need to light a Fire under @ChristoDoyle @Discovery.” The fire has been lit, Jesse. It’s now up to you to burn that torch brightly.
