Harley Sponsors of Bike Week Parade 2013
Monday, January 28, 2013
Motorcyclists will soon be flocking to Daytona Beach for Bike Week 2013. The 'Community Appreciation Parade' is back again this year and Harley-Davidson has stepped up as the presenting sponsor.
After making a successful return in 2012, the Bike Week
“Community Appreciation Parade” should gain even more steam in 2013 as Harley-Davidson
has stepped up to be the presenting sponsor.
“It’s a fitting role for Harley, as they were there since the event’s inception, and we certainly appreciate their continued support,” said Phil Maroney, Chairman of the Daytona Beach Chamber of Commerce, in a recent press release.
The 2013 Bike Week Parade will take place Saturday, March 16, with staging beginning at the Ocean Center at 7 a.m. It is scheduled to depart from there at 9 a.m. with an escort from the Daytona Beach PD Motorcycle Unit as it makes its way to the Daytona International Speedway. Businesses and Daytona residents will be showing riders their appreciation along the way and once they arrive at the Speedway, entertainment and motorcycle vendors await!
The Bike Week Parade was an integral part of the rally for many years before being cancelled a few years back. Now it’s a go again and everybody is invited, including all makes and models. A big “Thanks” to Harley-Davidson and the Daytona Chamber for making it all possible.
