Motorcycles Invade New York Int'l Auto Show

Motorcycles have invaded the NY International Auto Show and Indian Larry Motorcycles is one of the show's special guests. Just don't ask to sit on one of Seeger's bikes!
The New York International Auto Show
has a long and storied history. In fact, it’s celebrating its 113th anniversary this year as the latest four-wheeled vehicles, concept cars and electric hybrids take center stage for ten days in New York City’s Jacob Javits Center.
This year, though, the show sports a new wrinkle. Motorcycles have been included in this year’s event, a first for the show according to our buddy Bobby Seeger of Indian Larry Motorcycles
, who happens to be one of the invited guests at this year’s NY Auto Show. Indian Larry Motorcycles is set up on the Level Four Galleria as part of the new Motorsports & Motorcycles Division. Seeger said another local shop out of Long Island, NY, called Chaos Cycle is helping represent the custom motorcycle scene. On the manufacturer side, Harley-Davidson
is in the house with its ‘Jump Start’ program, Can-Am is displaying its Roadster
also has a display of its 2013 models set up.
Seeger has bikes like “Question Everything” and the “White Devil
” on display at the Indian Larry Booth and is stoked about being there. He says the days are long but it’s worth it considering the exposure they’re receiving, especially crossover customers who may not be familiar with the company. Just don’t ask him to sit on a bike. These are irreplaceable one-off customs, and he said so many yahoos have been coming over after sitting on and messing with Honda’s bikes that they think it’s OK to manhandle Indian Larry bikes. So he made up this little sign to help them with protocol.
“Wanna Sit on a Bike?
Go Sit on Honda’s
They Will Love You Better”
