Love of Indian Motorcycle More Than Skin Deep
Tuesday, March 4, 2014
Indian Motorcycles have been a life-long passion for Lonnie Hannah. The Senior Layout Designer for Indian Motorcycle wears his passion openly in the form of his new tattoo.
Lonnie Hannah’s love for Indian Motorcycles
runs deep. More than skin deep. In fact, he loves them so much, he got the iconic Indian headdress logo tattooed on his right arm.
His passion started early in life. He’s been riding since he was a kid. His father worked in a bike shop for parts because he couldn’t afford to buy his own bike at the time. Hannah’s dad eventually pieced together a 1950’s Indian Warrior.
Now Hannah is part of the team that built the 2014 Indian Chief
in his role as Senior Layout Designer for Indian Motorcycle. He’s so proud to be a part of that team that he went out and got artist Shahn Anderson of Electric Dragonland Tattoo to permanently etch that pride on his right forearm in the form of a 1939 Indian Scout logo tattoo.
Indian Motorcycle reps added “his commitment is representative of how the IMC team feels about working on history every day.” Hear his full story in the video below, courtesy of Indian Motorcycle and YouTube.
