I recently took my 08 night train in for service and left the dealership very upset at the way i was treated. My night train has been having starter issues for a while now and after being "inspected" by your service writer his diagnosis to my starter grinding was that my bike was running lean at mid range and the only way to solve this issue was to buy a fuel management system and have it installed on my bike and since the warranty doesnt cover that Id have to pay $700 out of pocket!!! (Starter grinding because its running lean at midrange, come on who buys that story!)I also wanted them to replace my front brake master cylinder which was diagnosed by you guys as being bad cause it was sticking a few moths ago.Since one was not in stock it had to be ordered in order to replace it and I was sent on my way and was told I could ride my bike with no problems. A week later I had an accident while riding my bike to work which I felt it was caused by my front brake locking up as I was taking a curve. I took it upon myself not to make a big deal about it and repair all the damaged parts myself, now months later I finaly finished repairing it and I took it in to have the same master cylinder replaced and I was told that it couldnt be done since it had cosmetic damage to it. I asked them to check in the computer and they would be able to see where the master cylinder had been ordered, I was told that it did show where it was ordered but that they couldnt replace it unless I paid for parts and labor out of pocket. The request to do my state inspection and the chrome flaking off the front wheel hub were both ignored. It took your guys 8 days with my bike to tell me that either I had to pay out of pocket for the master cylinder or that I needed to install something completely ridiculous like a fuel management system (out of pocket)for a starter grinding or to just completely ignore some of my issues like the chrome flaking off the front hub or my state inspection. I took my bike to a diferent dealership and all this problems were taken care of with not even a second question about them,all of them under warranty. I hope you guys dont treat all your customers the same way you treated me and realy hope you do something to keep this from happening again. I hate to have to go elsewhere for service since Ive taken my bike to your dealer for service since i bought it but now i had no choice. I will make sure that everyone i ride with and everyone i know knows exactly how i was treated there.
