Rain made the terrain muddy and slippery as Andreas Lettenbichler demonstrates - 2010 Red Bull Romaniacs
Andreas Lettenbichler was third in 2010 (shown).
The 2011 Red Bull Romaniacs rally is set to kick off this weekend. The race will feature live streaming video of the Prologue on July 16 from 1:50 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. EET (that’s 4:50 a.m. to 7:30 a.m. PST). The race also features live tracking.

This is the eighth time Romaniacs has taken place. Based out of Sibiu and running through the Carpathian Mountains, this test of man and machine lasts four days following the Prologue. The Prologue is a course in the city which features man-made obstacles that make EnduroCross look like a peewee track. It serves as a time trial qualification for starting order on Day 1. Riders go individually through the Prologue course and get two runs, the fastest counting as their qualifying time. They then go through a series of semi-finals and finals to determine class winners.
