Epic Conditions at Zaca Station

Wednesday, November 23, 2011
When it comes to authentic outdoor motocross you won’t find a better, or more beautiful track than Zaca Station. Located off Highway 101, just north of Santa Barbara, California, Zaca is a dirt bike riders dream come true. There are three tracks to choose from (main, vet and mini). The main track features a challenging 1.3-mile (almost two minute lap times for pros) course that winds up and down the natural hillside. There are a variety of different sized jumps that are shaped well and don’t have much penalty if you come up a bit short. When prepped Zaca is all about deep ruts and soft, loamy berms. With the rainy season upon us now is the time to start visiting the track. This winter it will be open Wednesday, Saturday and Sunday from 9:00 am until 2:00 pm. Gate fee is $35 per bike with members getting a $15 discount. Overnight camping is also available. Click here to use this photo as a wallpaper.
