Learn to Adjust KYB PSF Air Forks

Monday, December 3, 2012
The 2013 Kawasaki KX450F and 2013 Honda CRF450R received some of the highest subjective rider scores for suspension during MotorcycleUSA’s recent 450 MX Shootout, thanks in large part to the addition of the KYB Pneumatic Spring Fork on both models. According to our testers, spring rate adjustments could be made quickly and easily, but it never hurts to have a professional show us just what needs to be done to gain that perfect feel before a day of riding.

Pro Circuit recently released a “how-to” video featuring their in-house master of suspension Jim “Bones” Bacon demonstrating the proper technique for adjusting the KYB PSF Air Forks on both the Kawi and Honda. He also throws in tips on adding and removing oil from the forks and offers additional advice on how to make sure you’ve got the suspension dialed-in for whatever type of off-road riding might be on deck. Check out Jim and the KYB PSF Air Fork suspension video below, provided courtesy of Pro Circuit via YouTube.
