Business-wise I've had no problems in two trips: one for maintenance and another for store purchase. However, at least the guy behind the counter is a racist telling nasty jokes about blacks but stopping a bit short of the "N" word.

I thought I would find better customer service outside of the DC area, but in this case I couldn't be more wrong. When I took my bike there to get serviced, I said "Good morning" to the lone mechanic and his response was "Yeah? What's good about it?" I told him I had a service appointment and he angrily acted like he was doing me a favor by taking my bike in the back. I waited for 90 minutes past his estimate of completion and smelled pot coming from the garage halfway into it. What a loser. I hope to never experience customer service like this again-- don't even think of going to this place for anything.

This is a great dealership I personally work on powersport vehicles and I go the Cycle Center for all my yamaha parts or any part I need that i know they may have in stock. They great technicians that have serviced my vehicle when it gets too technical and needs the service manual. Also With a Good parts manager when I order my parts he knows exactly what I am describing.... I Also personally have seen various customers at several dealerships that need something "fixed" because they take no time to know and understand their vehicle just know that it has a motor, wheels, and was cheap.

We stopped in to see about getting our son's Kolpin 90CC serviced. My husband was directed to the tech to find out whether or not they could take care of it. The tech acted as though it was an inconvenience and told my husband that he doubted he could even get parts. Perhaps calling Kolpin would have been a first step rather than guessing, but maybe our customer service expectations are outdated. My husband responded, "So I guess that's a no?" and the tech said yes. We took the ATV to a lawnmower service dealer and they said if we could get the parts they would be happy to service it. We called Kolpin and the parts have been ordered. When I called back to the Cycle Center to convey my irritation with the lack of customer service, the woman on the phone had never heard of Kolpin despite the Kolpin sign on their door and seemed annoyed at MY irriration and offered no empathy. Glad business is so good that customer service goes out the window.
