Sniper's rear wheel has a disc brake mounted into the center of the multi-piece billet wheel.

Mark Daley, the creative force behind Thunder Struck Custom Bikes, won the Las Vegas Artistry in Iron contest with an industrial-strength custom motorcycle he calls 'Sniper.'

This is not the standard V-Twin carb arrangement. Instead, Mark uses the carbs from a Honda CBR600.

Mark split the manifold on the Honda CBR600 carb so two small CBR600 carbs feed each cylinder.

Sniper is powered by a 100 cubic-inch Crazy Horse Power Plus engine.

The gold trim is a ceramic coating applied by Northwest Industrial Coatings.

The RMD billet front end has new legs that Mark designed.

Mark flipped the valves on the heads of the Crazy Horse engine around and rerouted the intake manifold where the pipes should be.

Mark even took care of the small details, like making his own headlight housing and trimming it in color-matched ceramic gold.

Thunder Struck Custom Cycles opened its doors in 1995.

The small seat is mounted on the solid piece of billet aircraft aluminum that makes up the top half of the frame.

The pipes are an original Thunder Struck design that are composed of bolted-together sections that snake forward through the frame.

The Sniper was voted 'Best in Show' by a panel of custom builders at the 2009 Las Vegas BikeFest Artistry in Iron show.

The gold trim is made of ceramic and gun coatings similar to what they use on AR-15 rifles.

The oil lines alternate between hard and soft.

The heavy-duty spring of the RMD billet front end.

Sniper runs a 280mm Metzeler on the back which is accenuated by the lack of a rear fender.

With features like quadruple carbs, an open triple-belt primary, and a disc-brake mounted in the center of the rear wheel, the Sniper easily earned the 'Builders Choice' award at Las Vegas BikeFest.

Didn't see a license plate holder, but at least there's tail lights!

The lower half of Sniper is a Legend Low Frame that has been chopped in half while the upper piece was designed by Daley and is made from billet aircraft aluminum.
