The 44th Tecate SCORE Baja 1000 is ramping up in Ensenada, Baja California, Mexico for the fifth and final round of the SCORE Desert Series. This year the course is 692.82 miles and 273 total entries have signed up to take the challenge. Motorcycles, ATVs, UTVs, buggies and trucks from stock to unlimited mods are representing 34 states and 16 countries.

At the helm are the dual JCR Honda teams of Kendal Norman/Quinn Cody and Colton Udall/David Kamo/Timmy Weigand. These two squads are historically some of the fastest, wisest and most cunning Baja racers in the world. Led by 10-time Baja 1000 champion, Johnny Campbell, the factory supported Red Riders have been preparing for the annual event like nobody’s business. Eric Siraton builds the CRF450X race bikes, the same guy who prepped our XR650 when MotoUSA went to Hell and Back.
