KTM Kicking Major Dirt Bike Butt
Tuesday, November 22, 2011

Taddy Blazusiak joins multiple other factory KTM racers as a 2011 championship winner.
Motocross and Supercross get the lion’s share of exposure, popularity and media coverage in the U.S., so KTM doesn’t like coming up short. But once the racing goes off-road, the Austrian brand is mopping up the garage with its competitors, Japanese or otherwise. Been to an enduro lately? How about a desert race, Hare Scramble or GNCC? A majority of the starting lines are covered in orange bikes.
With Taddy Blazusiak clinching the EnduroCross title this weekend with a double victory, KTM has won every major national off-road championship this year.
2011 KTM Titles:
AMA National Enduro Champion - Russell Bobbitt
AMA National Hare and Hound Champion - Kurt Caselli
WORCS Champion - Kurt Caselli
WORCS Women’s Champion - Kacy Martinez
GNCC XC1 Champion - Charlie Mullins
GNCC XC2 Champion - Steward Baylor
GNCC Women’s Champion - Maria Forsberg
Motocross-Schmotocross… Actually, just wait, the Orange crew will be making big waves there soon as well. This coming season could be the year with Roger DeCoster's program firmly established and Ryan Dungey on board to race the 450 SX-F.
