Danny Hart to Train with 2012 RM-Z250
Friday, December 09, 2011
British downhill mountain biker Danny Hart is no stranger to two-wheeled racing. While he doesn’t rely on a motor, the 20-year-old from Middlesbrough has been ripping it up in the mountain bike scene – winning the 2011 World Cup series in Switzerland by just 11 seconds. But Danny is also a big fan of motorcycles. In fact, he’s taking delivery of a 2012 RM-Z250 to help him train during the winter.
"I've been a big motocross fan and rider for years and funnily enough, have pretty-much always ridden Suzuki,” said Hart. “I was invited to a magazine shootout with the latest bikes a few weeks back and ended the day riding the Suzuki. For me, it's the perfect package and straight away I felt comfortable, so when I got talking to Suzuki about my winter training, the RM-Z250 was the perfect choice."
The World Moutain Bike champ will participate in races and practice sessions aboard the Suzuki machine, hoping it will provide him with an edge for next season. For those of you who missed Hart’s amazing downhill victory, check out the video below courtesy Freecaster.tv.
