The second annual AMA Western Pro-AM is set to take place November 3-4, 2012 at Arizona Cycle Park. This relatively new event helps pros advance up the ranks and offers amateurs the chance to earn AMA points on the West Coast. The Pro-AM includes a number of classes from the 51cc (4-8) D (Beginner) class all the way up to the Senior Plus 50 class. New for 2012 is the two-moto, FMF 2-stroke challenge open to any sized 2-stroke.

After suffering a big knee injury mid-way through last year’s Supercross season, Chad Reed is back behind the handlebar of his race bike and is preparing for the season kick-off in Anaheim, California come January. Reed has a lot of work ahead of him including returning to fitness and getting the set-up dialed on his new-for-2013 Honda CRF450R.
