Damzl Clothing Sells in PacSun
Thursday, April 16, 2009

Now the ladies can find some moto flavor in their favorite SoCal PacSun store.
It used to bug the hell out of me to see
Fox Racing casual wear sold in the mall. I always felt like Fox was a little overplayed anyway, personally preferring its spin-off sister company,
Shift Racing, for its enthusiast core. But the mall thing really pissed me off.
I felt like it took away all validity of using moto brands as a way to identify yourself and other riders. Knowing that geeks who haven’t come any closer to experiencing a dirt bike than their vibrating Nintendo controller were running T-shirts and hats once reserved for two-wheeled brethren was embarrassing. It took a long time, much longer than it should have, to understand that it’s really a display of marketing muscle.
Most companies in our industry would probably give an arm and leg to have their product distributed through hip, mainstream outlets like Zumiez or Pacific Sunwear. Well, another moto company will join the likes of Fox, Skin Industries and Metal Mulisha on the over-crowded shelves of PacSun, but this company is different in that it caters specifically to women.
Damzl has released eight new T-shirt designs which will be featured in select PacSun stores in California and Arizona. The vast majority are based in Moto Mecca, SoCal, which can means two things if you live in the affected areas of the Golden State. Either you find the fresh, new digs for your spring wardrobe or a lot of poser chicks are going to be really happy.
