Warn Winch Means Trouble - Sorry Honda

Wednesday, April 22, 2009

Let the heavy lifting commence.
We just took delivery of three large, heavy boxes from Warn Industries. It was like Christmas morning since I’ve been dying to get ahold of these items. Within the cardboard containers are an XT30 winch, mounting kit and a front bumper for our 2009 Honda Rincon ATV. This is the next phase in our project build and the first time we’ve had an opportunity to play around with a winch.

Warn Industries is known to produce the best stuff on the winch market, so we’ve got every faith in the components. Not only has it expanded our quad’s abilities, but it erased any concern we have for getting into sticky situations. The effect has been worse than issuing a hall pass to a ninth-grader – a physical license to go looking for trouble.

Some travel assignments will take me away for the next couple weeks, but I’ll be wrenching on that Rincon and bolting on the XT30 at the earliest convenience. Once we get it installed, it’s game on with the nasty stuff!
