Moab UTV Rally 2009 Starts Today

J. Dawes doing work in the '09 Teryx 750 Sport.
The red rocks of Moab, Utah will be covered with a thick layer of black rubber over the next four days as every type of UTV and side-by-side descends on the small town for the third annual
Moab UTV Rally. The event is based out of the Old Spanish Trail Arena and lasts until May 16th.
Guided rides are a popular way to pass the time as well as crazy stuff like blindfolded barrel racing, pole bending and plenty of rock-crawling madness. Some manufacturers will be on hand to showcase their wares. Expect
Polaris to be on site with the popular Ranger RZR and Ranger RZR S. We talked to
Kawasaki’s ATV/UTV rep Justin Dawes during our test of the
2009 Brute Force 750i ATV and he assured us that the green big-rig will be on hand with lots of love for the Teryx 750 Sport crowd. Unfortunately, Motorcycle USA won’t be able to attend this year. We’ll have to call up our Kawi buddy again in a few days to get the scoop. That is if he’s not too waxed from all the creeping, crawling, flexing, towing, twisting, winching, mobbing and banzai partying!
Check out these videos from the 2008 event and just imagine that it’s even bigger and better.
