The Los Angeles Police Department uses dirt bikes as part of their regular patrol fleet. Nobody likes to get a ticket on a nice weekend ride, but a police presence has its place. Any off-roaders up to no good are going to have a harder time outrunning the black-and-white.

2-Strokes rule! Braaaap! 4-Strokes rule! (The YZ400F came out in ‘98 and still nobody knows how to speak or type in 4-stroke.) It’s the biggest, deepest rift between dirt bikers. This is the argument that breaks up lifelong friends and alienates family members. We catch grief about the subject every time an article is posted that even vaguely mentions 2-strokes. Yell and scream about it all you want.
