2010 Yamaha YZ250F Ride at Washougal
Monday, July 20, 2009

We got along fine with the 2009 YZ250F (shown), but this year we get to race it through the wooded beauty of Washougal Motocross Park.
We just arrived in Washington state after driving north from our southern Oregon headquarters. The trip up I-5 went quickly thanks to our growing level of excitement about sampling a new
Yamaha dirt bike, the YZ250F. We will be spending the next two days riding at the famed Washougal Motocross Park which has been prepped for the AMA Pro Motocross National coming to town this weekend. The whoops will be deeper and jump faces steeper. I’ve never ridden the track in National form, so this should be a treat. Combine that with a shiny Blue Yamaha and there’s nowhere I’d rather be. It isn’t often that the motorcycle industry does a press introduction outside of California, so to have one in the backyard of our Pacific Northwest is as good as it gets.
We don’t know all the details about the new Yamaha yet so watch for a 2010 Yamaha YZ250F First Look tomorrow morning and then a 2010 Yamaha YZ250F Motorcycle Review early next week.
