AMA BMW Adventure Series in Nor-Cal

Mike promises that you won't have to do this on his tour.
I just got a phone call from Mike Lingsch, the organizer at
McCloud Dual-Sport Adventures. We met Mike during the
RawHyde Adventure Rider Challenge, but he was calling to let us know of another big-bike event – one that isn’t quite as hard on equipment!
McCloud DSA is based out of McCloud, California. Haven’t heard of the little town? Well it’s just east of the Mt. Shasta area and specializes in customized adventure rides. As opposed to the ruff-n-gruff
OMA-KTM tours we’ve sampled, these cater to high-end machines and clients looking for country-club attention. Mike recently picked up a would-be cancelled
AMA BMW National Adventure Riding Series scheduled for August 8-9. Registration before Aug. 1 will save you 10 bucks ($175). Beat the heat with some shaded gravel roads and wind in your face. This is one of only two AMA series rides in Northern California, so take advantage of it if you are in the area.
For more information check out the
website or call Mike at 530-925-0151.
