Alaska Raceway Park is one of the oldest, most historic racing venues in Alaska. They feature IHRA drag races as well as a variety of events on almost every weekend during the racing season. And the view from the track can only be described as spectacular.

Directions: Alaska Raceway Park is about an hour north of Anchorage and is located east of Wasilla. From Wasilla: Take Highway 3 East to Highway 1 and keep heading East to Palmer. Turn Right on Old Glenn Highway and take it 8 miles to Polar Raceway Park on your Right.
Description: Surrounded by trees and mountains this is an ideal track for drag racing. Alaska Raceway Park have concessions and there are multiple races and events planned throughout the year. They are open from Mothers Day to Labor Day. Featured events include IHRA Drag Races and weekend races including junior dragsters, snowmobiles and motorcycles along with the usual assortment of cars. ARP has been around for 45 years and shows no signs of slowing down!
