Indianapolis Motor Speedway

Indianapolis Motor Speedway was first brought to light in 1909 and from the first discussion about the track it became a reality soon after. It is a 2.50 mile oval track that has a number of events yearly. Indianapolis is in the middle of the state and is about 200 miles southeast of Chicago IL and about 150 miles west of Dayton, OH.

Directions: From Indianapolis: Take I-70 West taking a Right onto I-465. Exit on Crawfordsville Road (Exit 16A). Follow Crawfordsville Road East on 16th Street. Indianapolis Motor Speedway will be on the left.
Description: Indianapolis Motor Speedway has been the epicenter of motorsports since it first opened in 1909. Now the famous Brickyard is host to the annual Red Bull US Grand Prix round of MotoGP. The epic venue has seen great racing and already has a historic piece of the MotoGP puzzle in the United States. They offer an amazing Hall of Fame Museum located in the park.
