Chris King 200 Motorcycle Superstore Shopping Spree Winner
Chris is our type of guy. He's got two differents bikes in his garage and rides year-round. That's when he's not doing his best to keep Clermont, Florida, safe as a full-time firefighter.
Chris King didn’t know that he was going to win a $200 shopping spree to the Motorcycle Superstore when he filled out the survey in Motorcycle USA’s newsletter. He did it out of his own magnanimity, because he enjoys finding out about the hottest motorcycle reviews and reports on Motorcycle USA. Well, maybe the thought that there was an outside chance of winning did cross his mind, but we like to think that he did it just because he’s a good guy.

Chris is my type of motorcyclist. He’s got two great looking bikes in his garage. His 2008 Harley-Davidson Street Glide already has 18,000 miles on it. And when he feels the need for speed, he fires up his cherry 1982 Suzuki GS1100E for a spin on the roads around his Clermont, Florida home. The bike’s all original and only has 13K miles on it.

But now Chris feels that winning a $200 shopping spree at the Superstore is the start of something big and says that after he wins the lottery he’s going to buy the new Ducati Streetfighter he read about on Motorcycle USA.

When he’s not riding, Chris is busy being a dad, with one son already and another kid on the way. He’s also a full-time firefighter and is working on getting his paramedic license. Remember what I said about Chris being one of the good
Chris Kings GS1100E
Chris' GS1100E is prime! "It's all original with 13K miles on it. I bought it from the second owner when it only had 8K on it and it's a really great all-around bike. Plus, I got it cheap enough that I was able to pay cash for it. It's the only thing I've ever been able not to have to finance!" he said.
guys? What I want to know is, when did he find time to put that many miles on his Street Glide in the last year as busy as he is?

So how’s Chris going to spend his shopping spree? Will he get something to spiff up his Street Glide, or will he score something for his GS1100E? He admitted that he’s got his eyes on a set of Kuryakyn chrome switch housings and maybe a set of rain gear. Chris said that he’s never won any kind of contest before so he’s pretty psyched about winning the Motorcycle Superstore shopping spree. It couldn’t have come at a better time. We’re psyched that Chris is a fan of the site and want to congratulate him, not only on winning, but on his baby girl that’s due in June.
