James Stewart Still Out for San Diego SX

Thursday, February 04, 2010
Cant get enough of the Monster Energy girls We cant either.
The Number 1 Yamaha will be getting more action from the 30-second girls than it will from Stewart - at least for this weekend.
San Manuel Yamaha will have to rely on Josh Hill again this weekend (not a bad thing as he's finished second in the last two races) as James Stewart sits another round on the sidelines with his broken wrist.

“My wrist is feeling a lot better,” he said five days after surgery. “Right now I’m following doctors’ orders so I can get back on the track racing as soon as possible. I want to be out there as soon as I can ride without pain. It was no fun racing Phoenix and Anaheim 2 this way.”

Stewart has always been pretty secretive about his medical status and it’s no different this time with his planned return to racing. The team said they are “hopeful that date will be very soon.”

I can list about 20 other guys who aren't quite as hopeful...

Wrists are notoriously difficult to rehabilitate. There are a bunch of bones rattling around in your wrist, eight to be exact. James busted the scaphoid bone in his right wrist. A little Internet research tells me that, “The injury often happens during sports activities or a motor vehicle accident. Men aged 20 to 30 years are most likely to experience this injury.”

James sure proved them right this time. Check out this link to the rest of the medical explanation.
