Chad Reed to Return at Houston - Video
Tuesday, March 23, 2010
Chad Reed is working on his newest injury, a broken thumb, which has kept the Monster Energy
Kawasaki rider out of action in
AMA Supercross since Phoenix. Originally it was a broken hand that put Reed out of commission, but the time off with relatively minor injuries has allowed Reed to work hard with his trainer and new doctor to get healthy and try to sort out the stomach ailments that plagued him last summer. He battled through those mysterious woes to claim the
AMA National Motocross Championship for Suzuki before swapping over to his new Kawasaki deal to ride the KX450F.
Reed plans on skipping this weekend in Jacksonville, Florida and then taking advantage of the week off before attempting a comeback at Houston. That gives the former champ nearly three weeks to heal up.
Here’s a short video from Kawasaki where Chad Reed explains his situation.
