The designs were the brainchild of MotoUSA Creative Director Brian Chamberlain. He felt obligated to lend a hand so that at least half of the decals would be put on straight.
The ordering process from TSS couldn’t have been easier. I was a little hesitant at first about how accurately they could replicate our design, so I took a few extra steps to insure accuracy, but later realized that this was probably unnecessary. Not only was the finished product exactly what we were looking for, they had the mockup of our kit back to us the next day.
I went through a long process of taking digital photos and laying out the design in Adobe Illustrator to insure complete accuracy and a high quality end product. Using a vector art program like Illustrator enables the design to be scaled to any size without any loss of quality. TSS also uses vector art when printing the final graphics so I probably saved them the time of recreating the design, had it been sent in a different format. After working with these guys though, I probably could have sent them a sketch on a cocktail napkin and got the same result.
I emailed my file and the year/make/model of our bike and waited for a reply. I didn’t have to wait long. The next day I received an email containing a mockup of our shroud for my approval. The mockup was perfect so I then gave them the ok to begin the printing process.
I couldn’t have asked for a better experience with TSS. They were polite both on the phone and in their emails. They were exceptionally timely in their replies as well as delivering the finished product. To top it all off, they delivered a high quality product that was an exact replication of what we were asking for.
